BNCI 2025-001 Motor Kinematics Reaching dataset
This dataset comprises preprocessed electroencephalography (EEG) recordings from 20 healthy participants performing a four-direction center-out reaching task with varying movement speeds and distances. Participants executed discrete reaching movements in response to visual cues while maintaining eye fixation, with 16 distinct motor imagery classes defined by direction (up, down, left, right), speed (slow, fast), and distance (near, far). The dataset includes 67 EEG channels recorded at 500 Hz with comprehensive preprocessing including artifact correction, ICA decomposition, and source localization analysis.
