fNIRS Finger Tapping

An example functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) dataset formatted according to the Brain Imaging Data Structure (BIDS) specification. The dataset contains hemodynamic measurements from 5 participants performing a motor task involving finger tapping of the left or right hand, with recordings acquired over the motor cortex using a NIRx device. This dataset serves as a reference implementation for fNIRS data organization and demonstrates conversion workflows from raw NIRx recordings to BIDS format.

  1. NeuroScience Gateway (NSG) portal.

    NSG runs EEGLAB / Brainstorm / MNE pipelines on supercomputing time donated by SDSC. Create an account, point a job at this dataset's S3 prefix (s3://nemar/nm000175), and submit.
