P300 dataset BI2014a from a "Brain Invaders" experiment
This dataset comprises electroencephalographic (EEG) recordings from 71 healthy subjects performing a visual P300-based brain-computer interface task using the Brain Invaders videogame. Participants engaged with an oddball paradigm involving pseudo-random flashes of 36 symbols on a grid to elicit P300 event-related potentials. The study evaluated the feasibility of a calibration-less P300 BCI system using 16 dry electrodes, with real-time adaptive classification for online feedback during gameplay. EEG data were recorded using 16 active dry electrodes with up to three game sessions per subject, comprising 9 levels with up to 8 attempts per level.

How to download
- The dataset
-
nemar dataset download nm000244Clones and fetches in one step. Content under stimuli/ and derivatives/ is skipped by default because those trees can be large; add --stimuli --derivatives for the whole thing. - A subset, one step
-
nemar dataset download nm000244 --subjects sub-01,02Also filters by --sessions, --tasks, --runs, --datatypes, --include and --exclude. - A subset, step 1
-
nemar dataset clone nm000244Clones git-annex pointers only; fetches no file content. Creates ./nm000244. - A subset, step 2
-
cd nm000244The get command below reads the clone's annex, so it only works from inside the clone. - A subset, step 3
-
nemar dataset get <files>Pulls the files you actually need. Skips stimuli/ and derivatives/ unless the path you ask for is under one of them. - One small file
- https://data.nemar.org/nm000244/v1.0.3/participants.tsv A direct HTTPS fetch works for any single file.
