This dataset comprises event-related potential (ERP) recordings from 13 healthy subjects performing a visual matrix speller task using a calibrationless brain-computer interface approach. The study introduces learning from label proportions (LLP), an unsupervised classification method that exploits known target/non-target stimulus ratios to enable online BCI operation without prior calibration. Subjects performed copy-spelling tasks using a 6×7 character grid across three sessions, achieving 84.5% character accuracy without labeled training data.
This dataset contains EEG recordings from an experiment investigating how stylized, exaggerated facial images enhance event-related potential (ERP) features relevant to emotion detection. The study demonstrates that artificially modified human faces elicit a stronger N170 component compared to natural faces, informing the design of affective brain-computer interfaces (BCIs). Participant identifying information has been removed for anonymization.
[ at three tempos (60, 100, and 150 bpm) using keyboard responses. Trial-by-trial visual feedback indicated timing accuracy relative to an adaptive response window, allowing investigation of motor learning and timing control. The dataset includes detailed event coding for stimulus conditions and feedback types across trials.
[ investigating the effects of sham hypnosis techniques using a 2×2 balanced placebo design. Participants underwent four experimental conditions involving conventional and unconventional hypnotic inductions presented as either hypnosis or relaxation control, with brain activity recorded using 64-channel EEG during baseline and experimental blocks. The study examines how expectancy and framing influence the neurophysiological response to hypnotic inductions.
