Effects of Forward and Backward Span Trainings on Working Memory: Evidence from a Randomized, Controlled Trial
This dataset presents EEG recordings from a randomized controlled trial examining the effects of forward and backward working memory span training on working memory performance. Event-related potentials were collected at pre-, mid-, and post-test sessions while participants performed a change detection task with varying target and distractor conditions. The study compares behavioral and ERP indices of working memory maintenance and interference control across training groups.
