This dataset comprises electroencephalographic recordings from 24 healthy subjects performing a visual P300 brain-computer interface task based on the Brain Invaders video game. This dataset contains intracranial electrophysiology recordings from the ventral posterolateral (VPL) thalamus of macaque monkeys, obtained using a NeuroNexus multi-site probe on a Blackrock Cerebus recording system. Recordings were made during focused ultrasound (FUS) neuromodulation targeted at either VPL or insular cortex, and during tactile stimulation of the contralateral hand. The dataset supports investigation of how transcranial focused ultrasound modulates spiking and local field potential activity in the primate thalamus.
