This dataset comprises EEG recordings from 40 participants engaged in an interactive narrative task involving decision-making and feedback processing. Participants read a story with hierarchically-blocked decision points where they evaluated items and received correctness feedback, with experimental manipulation of narrative context presence. The study examines neural correlates of reward processing and decision-making within narrative versus non-narrative conditions across three locations with multiple sub-locations.
This dataset contains EEG and behavioural data from 9 participants performing a complex decision-making task simulating a pandemic emergency resource-allocation scenario. Participants, paired with an artificial agent, allocated resources across 64 sequences while EEG, ECG, and EOG signals were recorded, along with their subjective confidence in each decision. The dataset is intended to support research into neurophysiological correlates of strategic decision-making under uncertainty.
This dataset comprises simultaneous EEG-fMRI recordings from 24 healthy adults performing a sustained attention task (GradCPT) and a resting-state task with intermittent multi-dimensional experience sampling, collected across two sessions per participant. It includes behavioral responses, experience sampling ratings across 13 dimensions of thought, and mental health survey data, enabling study of the neural correlates of attentional fluctuations, mind-wandering, and the reliability of EEG-fMRI relationships across sessions.
[ recordings from a flanker task experiment conducted across three undergraduate institutions. This dataset contributes to the ERP CORE resource, providing standardized EEG data for investigating error-related negativity (ERN) and lateralized readiness potentials (LRP) during conflict monitoring and motor preparation. Data were collected from participants in 2017-2018 and are formatted according to BIDS standards.
This dataset comprises behavioral events and intracranial electrophysiological recordings from a categorized free recall task conducted across multiple clinical sites. Participants studied semantically organized word lists (12 items from 3 categories with paired exemplars), performed a distractor task, and freely recalled the words. The dataset includes monopolar and bipolar iEEG recordings with electrode localization information, supporting investigations of memory encoding and retrieval processes.
This multimodal neuroimaging dataset investigates the neural mechanisms of metacognition—the ability to assess decision confidence—by isolating postdecisional from decisional contributions. Healthy volunteers performed perceptual judgments and observed decisions while reporting confidence, with concurrent electroencephalography and functional magnetic resonance imaging recordings. The study reveals dissociable neural correlates of confidence in prefrontal regions and proposes a computational model explaining how decision commitment enhances metacognitive performance.
