Free Recall with Open-Loop Stimulation at Encoding
This dataset comprises intracranial electrophysiological recordings and behavioral data from a delayed free recall task with open-loop electrical brain stimulation during encoding. Participants studied visually presented word lists, performed distractor arithmetic tasks, and freely recalled words while stimulation was delivered to hippocampal and entorhinal cortex electrodes. The study involved 25 participants across multiple clinical sites, with 20 of 25 lists per session receiving open-loop stimulation on alternating word pairs.
