Auditory-Visual Shift Study
This dataset comprises scalp EEG recordings from 49 participants (19 younger adults aged 20-40 years and 30 older adults aged 49-73 years) performing an interleaved dual-oddball audio-visual attention task. The study investigates age-related differences in selective attention and sensory processing by examining event-related potentials during three task conditions: focus visual, focus auditory, and attention shift between modalities. Data were collected from 33 EEG channels plus EOG and mastoid reference channels at 250 Hz sampling rate.
