EEG Resting-state Microstates Correlates of Executive Functions

This dataset comprises resting-state EEG recordings and cognitive task performance data from 140 healthy young adults (ages 18-35; 165 participants recruited, 140 completed final sample) collected across two sessions. The study investigates the relationship between intrinsic brain spatio-temporal dynamics, assessed via EEG microstates analysis, and executive function performance measured through a comprehensive battery of nine cognitive tasks. The dataset includes 64-channel EEG recordings acquired at 512 Hz during resting-state conditions and behavioral measures from standardized executive function assessments.
