VR-Compassion Cultivation Training

This dataset comprises EEG recordings collected during a virtual reality-based compassion cultivation training (VR-CCT) study conducted in the immersive social environment of Compassion Island. Participants engaged in guided meditations, visualization exercises, and interactive role-play scenarios with animated characters designed to cultivate compassion. The study integrates neuroimaging data with behavioral observations from a multi-setting virtual environment to investigate the neural correlates of compassion training augmented through immersive technology.
