A subset of large-scale EEG dataset (India + Tanzania)

A large-scale EEG dataset comprising recordings from 7,933 participants across India and Tanzania, collected through field-based research programs with nonspecialist teams. The dataset includes electroencephalographic recordings alongside demographic metadata (age, sex, income) and mental health assessments (Mental Health Quotient scores). Data quality was validated using PREP and FASTER methods and demonstrated comparability to controlled laboratory benchmarks, establishing the feasibility of cost-effective, high-throughput EEG data collection in diverse, low- and middle-income country settings.
