BCCWJ-MEG
This dataset comprises magnetoencephalography (MEG) recordings from 35 Japanese native speakers (13 females, 22 males; mean age 21.7 ± 2.75 years) reading newspaper articles presented word-by-word. Part of the BCCWJ-Brain collection, it enables cross-modality comparisons of language processing by providing high temporal resolution neural data acquired using identical stimuli across MEG, fMRI, and EEG modalities. The dataset includes raw and preprocessed MEG data, anatomical MRI images, and detailed documentation of acquisition and analysis procedures. Note: Stimulus texts from the Balanced Corpus of Contemporary Written Japanese (BCCWJ) are not included due to copyright restrictions; users must register separately with BCCWJ to obtain access to the texts.
