This dataset comprises neuroimaging recordings from 95 participants who received individualized laser pain stimulation at varying intensities while providing subjective pain ratings. The study employed a within-subject design with four stimulus intensity levels (corresponding to numerical rating scale values of 2, 4, 6, and 8) applied to two body locations (left and right hand dorsum), yielding 80 total trials per participant. Stimulus intensities were calibrated individually based on pain thresholds: E1: 2.0 ± 0.2 J; E2: 2.7 ± 0.3 J; E3: 3.4 ± 0.3 J; E4: 4.1 ± 0.4 J. The dataset captures neural responses to calibrated nociceptive stimulation and associated pain perception ratings, providing a resource for investigating the neural correlates of pain processing across stimulus intensities.
