The dataset includes pre- and post-stimulation evoked potentials, resting-state recordings, closed-loop stimulation sessions, and control stimulation periods, organized according to BIDS iEEG specification. Electrode coordinates are registered to MNI152 2009c space, enabling investigation of hippocampal network connectivity modulation through real-time theta oscillation control.

This dataset comprises open-eyes EEG recordings from 88 participants (36 with Alzheimer's disease, 23 with frontotemporal dementia, and 29 healthy controls) during photic stimulation at incremental frequencies (5-30 Hz). Recorded using a 19-channel scalp electrode montage according to the 10-20 system at 500 Hz sampling rate, the dataset complements a previously published eyes-closed resting-state EEG collection from the same cohort. This derivative EEG dataset from the ERC PROMENADE project investigates how different types of cues (physical, mental imagery, literal, and metaphorical) influence the neural processing of target pictures in a picture-matching task. Comprising 39 participants and 238 files (14.8 GiB), the dataset includes preprocessed EEG data with high-pass (0.10 Hz) and low-pass (45 Hz) filtering, ICA-based artifact removal, and behavioral measures of task accuracy and individual differences in vocabulary and mental imagery abilities. The study examines event-related potentials as participants judge whether target pictures match preceding cue information across four experimental conditions. The study was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Department of Brain and Behavioral Sciences of the University of Pavia (protocol number 123/2023).
