This dataset comprises 128-channel EEG recordings from healthy, neurotypical adults listening to naturalistic speech segments from an audiobook version of 'The Old Man and the Sea'. The data were originally collected across two studies investigating cortical entrainment to speech and semantic processing during continuous narrative listening. Accompanying audio stimuli and forced-aligned phoneme/word timing annotations are included to support neurolinguistic analyses.

This dataset contains electroencephalogram (EEG) recordings from 19 healthy participants using a brain-computer music interface designed to enable real-time control of musical tempo through motor imagery. Participants performed kinesthetic motor imagery tasks—imagining squeezing a ball to increase tempo or relaxing to decrease tempo—across nine experimental runs including a calibration phase. The data were collected at 1 kHz sampling rate with 20-second epochs synchronized to music clips, providing a resource for investigating the neural correlates of intentional tempo modulation and music-based brain-computer interface design. This dataset accompanies the publication by Daly et al. (2018). Full methodological details are available in Daly et al. (2014a, 2014b).

This dataset comprises resting-state EEG recordings and behavioral executive function assessments from 140 healthy adult participants, collected to investigate the relationship between intrinsic brain spatio-temporal dynamics (via EEG microstates) and executive functions. Participants underwent a 5-minute resting-state EEG recording (eyes open/closed) followed by a battery of nine cognitive tasks assessing executive functions. The study aimed to correlate EEG microstate metrics (occurrence, duration) with executive function performance scores.

This dataset comprises synchronized electroencephalogram (EEG), electrocardiogram (ECG), and pupillography recordings from 75 participants (36 young and 39 older adults) during auditory cued reaction time tasks and passive listening conditions. Participants performed a simple reaction time task and a go/no-go task, with EEG acquired at 500 Hz using 64 scalp electrodes, ECG recorded bipolarly from chest electrodes, and pupil data sampled at 240 Hz. The dataset is designed to investigate age-related differences in neural, cardiac, and pupillary responses during cognitive and perceptual decision-making tasks.
