This dataset comprises EEG recordings from 27 healthy adult subjects investigating the interaction of pitch and time in music encoding using 'chimeric music' stimuli that recombine pitch contours and note onset-times from two distinct melodies. Data were collected between September and November 2023 at the University of Rochester, with participants exposed to original and chimeric monophonic music clips alongside click trains during a two-phase experiment. The dataset is formatted according to the EEG-BIDS standard and includes raw BrainVision format EEG data.

This dataset contains EEG recordings from elderly patients with dementia undergoing 40Hz auditory gamma-band entrainment sessions. The study investigates whether auditory stimulation modulated at 40Hz can entrain brain oscillations and enhance functional connectivity, particularly within the default mode network, as a potential intervention for Alzheimer's disease symptoms. Both short and long entrainment sessions were conducted to accommodate participant tolerance, with EEG data collected using a 19-channel 10/20 system setup.
This dataset comprises 64-channel EEG recordings from 11 healthy participants performing an auditory P300-based brain-computer interface task using selective attention to multiple tone streams. Participants attended to one of three auditory streams of musical tones and counted target stimuli while P300 event-related potentials were recorded. Classification using Riemannian geometry achieved >80% accuracy for 5 subjects and >75% for 9 subjects, demonstrating the feasibility of multi-class auditory BCIs based on auditory stream segregation.
